Snowshoe Lake Airport is an 1800x100 gravel strip 39 miles west of Glennallen on the Glenn Highway. Snowshoe Lake is a north / south lake that is nearly a mile long. Twenty miles to the west is Eureka Lodge and the greater Eureka Recreation area, featuring hundreds of miles of trail systems and hunting grounds. Berry picking is throughout the greater area.
