THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW RETURNS TO MAD MYRNA’S FOR A FALL RUN

Mad Myrna’s Productions is proud to announce that The Rocky Horror Show is back! Following in the theaters style of producing high energy, camp musicals, such as Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens, Little Shop of Horrors and more, Mad Myrna’s annual production of The Rocky Horror Show will open for a 21 show run from October 19th-November 17th.

Producer RJ Haywood and Director Cameron Morrison first teamed up on the summer 2012 production  of Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens. Following in the success and critical acclaim of that show, Executive Producer Jeff Wood (aka Mad Myrna) asked them to lead this years production of The Rocky Horror Show.

DRIVE IN MOVIE

The Alaska Airlines Center is excited to bring back the nostalgia of the drive-in movie with the style of the 21st century. Starting at 5:00pm, a rodeo of local food trucks will be located in the parking lot of the arena for your dining pleasure. At sundown (approximately 9pm), we will watch Jurassic Park. Sound will be broadcasted through FM radio, as well as speakers for those that are planning to join on foot. Food trucks and vendors will be serving throughout the movie.

Space is very limited, so please car pool and arrive early.

Pippin is the story of Prince Pippin, son of Charlemagne, who has just finished his formal education and is ready to face the world. In his quest to find his “Corner of the Sky” Pippin tries every noble pursuit (and some not so noble too) only to learn that none of them are completely fulfilling.

This production is being put on by Theatre Artists United, a privately held company here in Anchorage. They are  dedicated to bringing high caliber musical theatre to the city of Anchorage, Alaska.
